Lake Land College Employees Recognized for Years of Service | Education
MATTOON – In the recent virtual recognition of Lake Land College employees, faculty and staff were honored for their years of service.
Lake Land College is proud to honor the commitment and dedication that many employees have put into helping students succeed in college. Several of these employees have been recognized for having achieved milestone years of service.
Lisa Cole, Director of Data Analytics, was recognized for her 30 years of service.
Those recognized for 25 years of service included Dion Buzzard, Industrial Technology Instructor / Program Coordinator; Dave Earp, Print and Mail Services Supervisor; Emily Hartke, Chair of the Board and Legal Affairs Council; Walter McHenry, professor of mathematics; Martha Mioux, Assistant Physiotherapy Instructor / Program Director and Massage Therapy Instructor / Program Director and Art Turner, Child Care Supervisor.

Those recognized for 20 years of service were Cheryl Beam, nurse educator / director of nursing; April Byard, Community and Professional Programs Specialist; Terri Fields, professor of psychology; Brenda Hunzinger, teacher in biological sciences; Dave Johnson, Health and Physical Education Instructor / Head Coach of Women’s Basketball; and Krista Pickering, Financial Analyst.

Those recognized for 15 years of service included Dyke Barkley, horticultural instructor; Andrea Bright, academic advisor; Tisha Goad, nurse educator; Valerie Lynch, Acting Vice President of Student Services; Pamela Mayer, Principal Custodian; Megan Nelson, Marketing Publishing and Design Coordinator; Heather Nohren, academic advisor; Ike Nwosu, mathematics and science / bioscience professor to the division president; Cassie Porter, nurse educator; Greg Powers, voice communications instructor / broadcast / director of broadcast operations; Lisa Shumard-Shelton, Director of Dual Credit and Honors Experience and Erin Swingler, Chair of the Paramedic Teacher / Nursing Division.
Those recognized for 10 years of service were Ben Cohan, art teacher; Hannah Crnkovich, scholarship coordinator; Kristen Holsapple, dental hygiene trainer / dental hygiene manager; Ginger Murray, Associate Dean of Correctional Programs; Maria Nohren, nurse educator; Ryan Orrick, Agriculture Division President / Agricultural Instructor; Scott Rawlings, plant manager of physical operations; Casey Reynolds, Spanish / English teacher; Megan Stewart, clinical instructor in cosmetology; Benjamin Tomasello, custodian and Nate Westendorf, programmer analyst.
Those recognized for five years of service included Emily Bowling, assistant printing technician; Hilary Donley, paramedical specialist; Tarah Haskenherm, nurse educator; Olivia Koester, Admissions Officer; Jani Merryman, Adult Education Advisor; Kyle Sims, Adult Education Advisor and Dustha Wahls, Director of Human Resources.
Several adjunct faculty members were also recognized for their semesters of service. Sharon Brown and Terry Salem were awarded for 60 semesters. Linda Gates, Diana Hammond and Jesse Teverbaugh were awarded for 40 semesters. For 30 semesters, David Budde, Debra Denton, Allen Drake, Martin Gibson and Teresa Metzger were recognized. Camille Gordon, Michelle Miller, Jeffrey Paisley, Michael Ritchie and Robert Till were awarded for 20 semesters. Joyce Barnhart, Todd Ehlers, Amy Followell, Matthew Holdman, Leslie Harmon-Mckenzie, Steven Klingler, Ashley Poleon and Heath Strom were awarded for 10 semesters.
