REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

· Must be a US citizen

· Must be 18 years old

· Must be able to read, write and speak English

· Must be deemed fit for federal employment

· Must participate in the direct deposit payment program

· Must pass the E-Verify Employment Verification Check

· Must pass all weapons qualifications prior to assigned duties and responsibilities, will carry firearms and must pass all required requalifications

· Must pass a sanctioned physical agility test and medical evaluation; retest periodically as needed

· Must pass a national agency check and a local background check

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

· Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to maintain a U.S. Government Emergency Vehicle Driver’s License

· Must maintain appearance and grooming standards while wearing uniform as per policy (USMC grooming standards must be followed)

· Must be able to train and wear personal protective equipment including mask, coveralls, boots and gloves in preparation for chemical/biological attack.

· Must pass a pre-employment drug test (marijuana included)
