The San Francisco 49ers announced today that the team will allow reporters to observe three practices during the upcoming Organized Team Events (OTAs), which begin next week. The sessions will take place at the SAP Performance Facility in Santa Clara, next to Levi’s Stadium.

Fans are not permitted to attend. There was a report today that the 49ers are planning to allow some fans access to training camp, which begins at the end of July.

The first open OTA practice will be on Tuesday 25 May. The second will be on Wednesday June 2. The third will be on Tuesday June 8. All three practices should begin at noon.

Technical staff will speak to reporters via Zoom after each practice. Head Coach Kyle Shanahan will speak on May 25, defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans on June 2 and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel on June 8. Some players will be available after each coach.

San Francisco will host a mandatory minicamp from June 15 to 17. The schedule for this part of the off-season program will be published at a later date.
