State Department Updates Draft Solicitation Ahead of Evolve IT Service Acquisition Industry Virtual Day
In preparation for Evolve Industry Day on Monday, October 25, the State Department posted a new draft Request for Proposal (RFP) on SAM.gov.
Interested parties are strongly encouraged to review the draft RFP prior to Industry Day and submit their questions as per the update provided on October 20.
The State Department’s Office of Information Resource Management will be hosting an Unclassified Industry Day Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. The purpose of the online-only event is to exchange information relating to the Multi-Price Anticipated Solicitation, Evolve IT Services, Undefined Delivery, Undefined Quantity (IDIQ).

- Introducing Evolve IDIQ
- Cyber security briefing
- Competition pool 1: IT management panel
- Competition Pool 2: Network and Telecom Services Panel
- Competition pool 3: Panel Cloud & Data Center
- Competition Group 4: Application Services Panel
- Competition Group 5: Customer and End User Services Panel
- Q&A session
During panels on each competition pool, DOS will share information on the current environment and the desired future state. Industry participants are encouraged to identify innovative technical approaches to make the transition from the current environment to the desired future state.
