The first in-person Marine Corps marathon in three years has sold out, according to race organizers.
Nearly 20,000 runners from all 50 states, 47 countries and DC will take to the course for the 47th running of the marathon on October 30.
“We are thrilled to announce that the 47th MCM is officially sold out, underscoring that our community of runners is looking forward to running alongside our Marines and Sailors again throughout the Nation’s Capital,” said Rick Nealis, Director of Navy Corps Marathon Organization.
The field filled up quickly: registration for the race had been open for about a month and a half before the organizers announced that it was full.
Those who did not register in time with the general public can still run the race by participating in the MCM Charity Program.
There is also room for virtual marathon entries, as well as live and virtual entries for the MCM50K. You can register here.
